My first crafting memory at age 5 I wanted to make soaps. I remember doing this with my dad who’s a product designer. (He typically provides the structure to my ideas, and I provide the creativity and artistic touches that bring them to life.) To create the GemBar soaps we carved and cast the molds together using silicone, then I designed the colors, fragrances, and the gold and silver painting to make them look real.
